MISSION STATEMENT:

The Hickman County Education Foundation was established to create a partnership between community, business, industry and education.  Our goal is the improvement of educational opportunities for every citizen in our community.  This includes pre-school through life-long learning opportunities.

WHO ARE WE?

The Hickman County Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was founded in 1997 through the joint efforts of the Hickman County Economic & Community Development Association (Vision 21) and Leadership Hickman.  The board of trustees is made up of a diverse group of volunteers from agricultural, industrial and commercial business, civic and social organizations, economic development and educational fields.

WHAT WE DO:

Our purpose is to solicit, receive, administer, invest and disburse contributions to support our mission.  The work of the Foundation is accomplished through its four standing committees: the Finance Committee, the Scholarship Committee, the Public Education Committee, and the Higher Education/Training Committee.

HOW CAN I HELP?

The Foundation welcomes donations of any type.  While cash donations are always appreciated, we also welcome gifts of real estate, livestock, stocks and bonds, gifts as a result of estate planning, and being named as a life insurance policy beneficiary.
